Like all sorts of things, very eclectic taste really, rock, metal, indie, hip hop, some r&b, bnot much though, just the stuff I regard as qualitty, lots of type of dance mainly house epsecially deep house, chillout, smooth and acid jazz, lots of weird unsigned and unheard of stuff, baisicly anything or most things that are not pop, only things I can't really stand is those stupid boy/girl bands and country, oh also love drum&base, so yeah, lots of things, although rock and metal are prob my fave.

Yeah, I have a pretty eclectic tast in music too. My colection is next to nothing, although I would love to collect music someday. My fav is probably metal, alternative rock, and some R and B and dance as well. I guess it depends.
I'm not much in to pop either, and cant stand artests like Britney, Christina, NSync, and so on and so forth. I think you catch my drift.
I especially like early ninety's grunge, being that I am a native Washingtonian and love Seatlle bands like Nirvana, Alice in Chains, some of Sound Garden's stuff, some Pearl Jam, and i'm sure there are a few others that I have forgotten.

I like a bit of everything. Old school rap, 90s alternative and some pop, but not much. I think that hardhouse or some other form of techno is probably my favorite. I don't like all techno though, I hate the kind that doesn't transition quickly.

I like a bit of everything as well, but because of my connection I don't listen to much online radio because of buffering problems, but that will soon change within the next months.

Well I like a bit of everything from the 50's to today. i am a part of an internet radio station and we're looking for more dj's. you guys seem to have good taste. When i broadcast I try and play stuff that people like. the station's not too big yet, just got 6 dj's. i like some hip hop, 80's, 90's, 70's which includes classic rock to, oldies, classical, dance, acapella, country, yeah just about everything. I could go on and on about the groups I like, but theirs too many so I'll just shut up now.
Talk later.

Well I tend to go through phases where I'm playing the same CD's incessantly. Although I don't think you could fit my musical tastes into a genre, I generally like music that keeps my attention: with complex chord changes, varying rhythms and textures, etc. For that reason, I listen to a lot of contemporary jazz: Chick Corea, Pat Metheny, Bela Fleck, etc. The second type of music I like is that which moves me emotionally, based on expression, lyrics, etc. Artists that might fall into this category include Kurt Elling, Sarah McLauchlan, Jackie Allen and Tori Amos. Finally, there's the music that I like for the driving beat and infectious invigorating energy. This would include a lot of big band and Latin music, fusion, etc. As you can tell, I listen to a lot of jazz.

It would be easier for me to tell you waht I disliked rather than what I liked. I am really not into much that's current, though, and the older music I do like tends to be not so overplayed and/or it's a bit unusual or complex or long for many folks.

Metal! I play it, breathe it and try to live it. hah. Also, progressive and psychedelic rock, mostly from the 70s...some classical and symphonic music..some oi/punk and crossover stuff, and very little electronic music, again, mostly from the 70s.

Post 15 by Caitlin (I've now got the silver prolific poster award! wahoo!) on Saturday, 15-Jan-2005 1:24:37

I don't have a favorite genre. I like a bunch of different people. Billy GIlman, Vanessa Carlon, classical stuff, even jazz oldies and rock, on and on.

Oh what a list this could be. Here are a few of my faves.
Big Band, Old acoustic blues, a veriety of country, jazz, alternative, golden oldie from the 50's 60's, and so much more. I love to scope out the local artists, they ones doing the club scenes or the colege radio.

Phew, there's just a sampling. Music exploration and education is quite a passion of mine.

What a question! Well I like just about every genre of music out there. I'm very eclectic, however, Broadway, New Age, Classic Rock and oldies from the forties through sixties are my very favorits. Then Classical, heavy metal, disco, mo-town, opera, world music and pop. After that, jazz, blues, latin music, dance, acid rock, techno, R and B, alternative, big band and gospil. Anything I missed comes after that. Accept for corny country and almost any rap. I hate both with a passion.
